Demand for sector-related investments was propelled by the economic boom across the region, increase in the cost of importing material, and the fluctuation of foreign currency exchange. Building on extensive sector knowledge, Himmah focused on defining opportunities in developing building material and systems and was instrumental in assembling a manufacturer of building material. Himmah’s portfolio includes developing opportunities in this sector covering the gamut of processes from mining to the end retail product. Himmah is now involved in developing a precast concrete plant, a glass project, a steel fabrication one, an insulation material plant, as well as floor and wall cladding.
